I’m so pleased to share that The Nursing Nighty is now stocked by Latchette — a beautifully curated space dedicated entirely to breastfeeding mums and the mum-founded brands that support them.
Latchette was founded by Anaïs, whose personal breastfeeding journey and frustration with the lack of dedicated support led to something really special.
Anaïs’ Story
I’m Anaïs, a mum of two boys aged six and one. I’m originally from France and have lived in the UK for over twenty years. I breastfed my first son for three years and loved the deep sense of connection it created, and how breastfeeding could soothe him so quickly and naturally.
Latchette was born from a simple frustration.
There was no website truly dedicated to breastfeeding products.
While breastfeeding can last months or even years, it often felt overlooked compared to pregnancy, which is usually supported for a much shorter time.
Most platforms focus on maternity wear, leaving breastfeeding clothing and practical feeding accessories scattered and hard to find.
At the same time, Anaïs kept discovering incredible small, mum-founded brands creating thoughtful breastfeeding clothes and smart accessories designed to solve real feeding challenges.
Latchette brings these products together in one carefully curated space.
Changing the Narrative Around Breastfeeding
Anaïs also wanted to challenge how breastfeeding is often presented and experienced.
I wanted to change the narrative around what breastfeeding looks like today. Women are not staying at home anymore. Getting out, meeting people, and sharing experiences is essential for wellbeing and feeling less isolated.
Breastfeeding should not be the reason someone feels they have to stay at home.
With the right breastfeeding-friendly clothes and accessories, feeding in public can feel easier, more confident, and completely normal.
